My recent artistic venture began with an autumn's moment of inspiration, preserving the stained-glass warm hues of autumn leaves backlit by the October sun. This new venture stems from many months of experimentation to encapsulate the fleeting beauty of nature. I create hand hammered copper lamps blending influences from the Arts and Crafts and Nouveau movements. The copper metal frames showcase the fall-colored leaf panels. The process takes several weeks to create and uses local Montana flora, which can only be sourced once a year.
